Nekodake is listed next to Shimoyama, a hundred famous mountains, and has many flowers of alpine plants.
The altitude is 2207m and the course from Sugadaira Farm is relatively short, so if you have a slow pace you can enjoy light mountain climbing as if you are hiking with children.
It is recommended that the first climber be accompanied by an experienced person, paying careful attention to the weather.
